On April 19, the whole family ventured out on our first official cake hunt. We visited the sites of all the St. Charles/St. Peters cakes. We started at the Courthouse. This cake has a lot of detail.
Then we ventured over a few blocks to the Shrine of St. Rose Philippine Duschesne.
Next we headed over to the Missouri First Capital. We have had some fun visits to this site in the past. The tour of the building is interesting and we have also been to fun children's festivals on the lawn.

On our walk from the capital to the boathouse, we stopped to visit Lewis, Clark and their dog Seaman.

Last stop on the river, Lewis and Clark Boathouse and Nature Center. This is a fun place to tour.

We left the river front and headed over to my other alma mater, Lindenwood. I finished out my college days here with a degree in Elementary Education. This campus has also changed quite a bit since my days as a student.
The cake at the Heritage Museum is very pretty. This is a museum that is on my list of places to tour, but we have not yet gotten to that yet. We must do that soon!
Last stop. Katy Trail.
You can see the 364 bridge in the background of this picture.
