Resurrection Sunday dawned bright and early for us with a Sunrise Service at 370 Lakeside park. This has become a loved tradition for our family. Beautiful setting, close to home. A personalized service that I created, melding several traditions that I like.
After lunch, we headed out to get one cake in O'Fallon. Alex had actually seen this cake before. It was the first cake she spotted. Her class at Lewis and Clark Career Center had a field trip to the park to work on the landscaping and she actually worked around the trees next to this cake.
