April 26th was a busy day for us with Bowling practice for Jessica and a leadership dinner at church for Alex and me. So we only had time for a quick cake trip. We crossed over the river and grabbed the cake at Creve Couer Lake. It was a busy day there with some kind of run going on. That path is very popular with run/walk events.
We also stopped by the YMCA. It was also very busy with some kind of family event going on. There were display tables set up in front of this cake and we had to have the workers remove a stack of t-shirts from on top of the cake so we could take a picture. Outside were various emergency vehicles on display for the kids and we endured much blasting of the sirens. :-)
