It's been a dreary, rainy, yucky weather week. But, today, the sun came out! We celebrated by going out to grab another cake picture. We had discovered that another cake had been set out in the downtown St. Charles area. Perfect for a quick afternoon cake hunt. This one is at the Ameristar Casino. Not a place that we frequent. And the kids felt a little weird being there. That's a good thing! I like it when that kind of thing makes my kids feel weird.
This was a neat cake. It commemorates the start of I-70 and it also showcases the old Noah's Ark restaurant that used to be across the highway.
We loved the fountain on the way in. But we weren't parked in the best spot and everyone was anxious to be on our way, so no pictures of it .
