October 18: Grand and Union Station neighborhoods

A good day of cake hunting. Today we hit all the cakes along Grand and then parked at Union Station and did a bunch of cakes within walking distance.

We started with a very nostalgic cake though. The old St Louis Arena. This cake sits where center ice used to be. I miss that old place!

Somehow, I missed putting the SLU cake on my intinerary this morning, but as we drove down Grand, we realized it had to be close. Aha! We spotted it on the way toward Union Station.

Bonus Cake:
The kids spotted this bonus cake in a window near City Museum.

The kids noticed this cake has an earthquake star. Guess it's stable! :-)

Alex discovered a jury shuttle stop on Clark. We had to get a picture with her script from 12 Angry Jurors (the play she is going to be in next month).

The Scottrade Center (Home of the Blues!!! and apparently the circus too!)

My two favorite Blues. Federko and Sutter

St. Louis City Hall

A cool looking parking garage.

Yummy fudge at the Fudgery.

We walked most of these cakes. So we were glad to sit down to a nice meal at Hard Rock Cafe.
